Spring Time Fishing

In Southeast Louisiana

As winter fades and the marsh begins to green up, southeast Louisiana wakes up in a big way—and so do the fish. Spring marks one of the most exciting and productive seasons for fly anglers in the Gulf Coast marsh, especially those chasing redfish on the fly. Warmer water, longer days, and an explosion of life in the shallows create a perfect storm for unforgettable fly fishing. Recently the reds have definitely been more active. We have been seeing a bunch of crawling/ tailing redfish up on the banks and cruising around shallow flats.
