Snow In Louisiana!
Snow In Louisiana!
A winter suprise in the Bayou State
Snowfall in Louisiana is something most residents never expect to see. The state is known for its hot, humid climate, with occasional chilly winter days. But in early 2025, the temperatures dropped, and a powerful winter storm rolled in, covering cities like Baton Rouge and New Orleans in snow. For many, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that took them by surprise. With a crazy 7.5 inches, it was the most snow recorded in Louisiana since 1892!! Even with the snow we still had a few fish caught! They were definitely lethargic and moving slow but, as days continued we started seeing them settle back into their normal patterns.
